The Restaurant Store in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an Operations Associate (Wholesale Stocking Associate) to support the Product Lifecycle Manager with daily material handling at our branch. You will assist with receiving, stocking, and presenting inventory to meet sales, merchandising, and fulfillment goals.

This full-time role offers a stable schedule with no late-night shifts, weekend rotation, and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail, warehouses, restaurants, grocery, or related fields.
• Prior forklift certification is a plus.
• No degree required; relevant skills and experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put-away incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts or powered equipment.
• Maintain organization and neatness while restocking daily.
• Coordinate with Merchandising and Inventory to stock products in correct locations.
• Communicate with Product Lifecycle Manager to address operational issues.
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and remove damaged/expired items as needed.
• Support management initiatives to ensure smooth location operations.
• Keep store environment clean and safe.

Job Summary

The Operations Associate (Wholesale Stocking Associate) with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Product Lifecycle Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
• Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
• Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail, warehouses, restaurants, grocery, or other related hospitality fields.
• Prior forklift certification a plus

Education
