Job summary

MLB Residential Lending, LLC seeks a business development professional to identify and solicit new business from top mortgage brokers in the Northeast market. You will act as a liaison between brokers and financial institutions to expand MLB's wholesale channel.

You will meet quarterly targets, develop strong broker relationships, review loan packages for completeness, and represent MLB with professionalism while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience selling mortgage products in residential lending.
• Basic knowledge of residential mortgage loans, deal structures and underwriting.
• 1–2 years’ sales experience in financial services.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and solicit new business from top mortgage brokers.
• Serve as mediator between mortgage brokers and financial institutions.
• Meet quarterly sales targets set by Wholesale Director.
• Develop and maintain mortgage broker relationships.
• Review mortgage loan packages to ensure completeness before submission.
• Grow MLB’s wholesale division and brand by building new relationships and networking with lenders.
• Develop new business through cold-calling, referrals, and outside sales activities.
• Deliver high-quality customer service while ensuring compliance.
• Address broker questions and concerns promptly, escalating when needed.
