quishface is seeking a dynamic and experienced Wholesale and Tradeshow Manager to lead our wholesale and distribution growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wholesale e-commerce management, strategic planning, and tradeshow management, with a proven track record of success in business development. This is a full-time remote position, starting at $65,000.00 annually, dependent on experience. Health, Vision, and Dental benefits are available. The workload is approximately 70% wholesale and 30% tradeshow-related.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wholesale sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Seek and manage bulk orders and purchases.
- Identify and contact potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers.
- Establish new and maintain existing long-term business relationships.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with wholesale clients.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Analyze market trends and competitive strategies to optimize sales.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
- Work with supplier-partners to arrange space, marketing collateral, hotels, equipment rental, and setup/dismantling of the tradeshow booth.
- Manage and execute tradeshow promotional plans to maximize company exposure and generate sales leads.
- Demonstrate client engagement processes to acquire new customers.
- Motivate the sales team and collaborate on effective sales techniques by show audience.
- Ensure regular knowledge and best practice sharing among internal and external teams.
- Interact comfortably with managers, roles, and potential customers.
- Actively problem-solve during and after shows to ensure the sales team is informed and customer issues are resolved promptly.
- Assist the team with lead retrieval, reporting, and show results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Availability for paid travel approximately 4-6 times per year.
- 1-3 years of experience in tradeshows, event management, and hospitality.
- Excellent judgment and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Expertise in business development, including contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Solid understanding of operations management related to e-commerce logistics and fulfillment processes.
