Nomura in New York is seeking a Whole Loan Analyst / Associate to join the Operations team, focusing on high‑volume mortgage products in the Whole Loan space such as RTL, Non QM, NPL/RPL, SBC, and REO. The role requires exposure to servicer remittance processing and loan repurchase identification, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

• 1+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar
• Experience working in a trading environment and supporting whole loan trading desk
• Strong attention to detail & multi-tasking skills
• Strong organization skills and ability to adapt easily to the different functional needs of the business as it evolves
• Strong MS Office skills

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with high volume mortgage products in the Whole Loan space (RTL, Non QM, NPL/RPL, SBC, REO)
• Exposure to servicer remittance processing and loan repurchase/EPD identification and processing
• Proficiency in Excel and reconciliations
• Knowledge of MERS, LMS, and E-Notes is a plus
