Job summary

Annaly Capital Management, Inc., through its Onslow Bay Financial subsidiary, is seeking a Whole Loan Operations Associate to coordinate activities across the loan lifecycle. The role touches lock desk, collateral, credit, and settlements, driving process improvements for a large seller network.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential mortgage whole loan operations and a strong understanding of origination, servicing, underwriting, pricing, and asset management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential mortgage loans.
• Knowledgeable in loan origination, loan servicing, credit and collateral.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between internal and external stakeholders across loan acquisition stages.
• Review custodial exception reports and identify material or fatal exceptions.
• Review post-close diligence reports to ensure Onslow Bay criteria are met.
• Communicate Onslow Bay’s position regarding loan conditions and pipeline statuses.
• Handle seller requests and escalations promptly.
• Work with multiple platforms (LOS, rate lock portals, diligence) and loan management systems.
