Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Interest in natural foods and Whole Foods Market mission.

Responsibilities

• Monitors product quality and freshness; ensures proper rotation.
• Logs and retrieves customer special orders.
• Completes required spoilage, sampling, temps & sweep worksheets.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, and stocks product per procedures.
• Assists training of new Team Members using training materials.
• Supports national, regional, and store programs.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready; attends scheduled trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service; uses suggestive selling.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Maximizes sales by proper prep, rotation, stocking, merchandising.
• Follows procedures on weights, measures, sanitation and safety.
• Maintains clean, sanitary environment; upkeep of equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs/pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
