Job summary

Whole Foods Market in the Cambridge area is seeking a Team Member for the Whole Body department. You will provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service while stocking, rotating, and merchandising products to meet regional standards.

You will also support store programs, assist in training, and help maintain cleanliness, safety, and accurate pricing. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Follow procedures and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper rotation.
• Logs, processes, and retrieves customer special orders.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, and stocks product according to procedures.
• Assists in training new Team Members using provided materials.
• Supports national, regional and store programs.
• Arrives on time and attends required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Performs duties as assigned by leadership.
• Maximizes sales through proper merchandising and stocking.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment.
• Handles opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
