Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Newton, MA is seeking a friendly Team Member for the Whole Body department. You will provide courteous customer service, assist with stocking, rotating products, and maintaining attractive displays per standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of department products.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper rotation.
• Logs, processes, and retrieves customer special orders.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Follows department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of product.
• May assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning materials.
• Supports national, regional and store programs.
• Arrives on time, well groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
