Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Ann Arbor is seeking a Team Member for the Whole Body department to provide courteous, friendly service while stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers.

You will learn product knowledge, handle customer orders, and help maintain safety and cleanliness. No prior retail experience is required and training is provided; a willingness to work flexible hours is expected.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper product rotation.
• Logs and processes customer special orders.
• Completes required spoilage, sampling, and temperature worksheets.
• Follows department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of product.
• May assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing all learning checklists and training materials.
• Supports national, regional and store programs.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
