Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Team Member for the Whole Body department to provide courteous, friendly service and maintain attractive displays.

The role involves stock rotation, handling customer special orders, and supporting store programs while adhering to health and safety rules. Ideal candidates will engage customers, follow procedures, and work well in a team to meet quality goals. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and flexible scheduling including

Qualifications

• Knowledge of products in the Whole Body department and related quality goals.
• Ability to sell proactively and maintain attractive displays.
• Attention to detail in pricing, rotation, and shelf labeling.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support store programs.
• Commitment to customer service standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage time and follow established procedures.
• Genuine interest in natural foods and WFM mission.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment with urgency.
• Understanding of and adherence to WFM quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitors product quality and freshness; rotates stock accordingly.
• Logs, processes, and retrieves customer special orders.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises product.
• May assist in training new Team Members using training materials.
• Supports national, regional and store programs.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready; participates in trainings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Performs duties as assigned by leadership and adheres to safety rules.
• Maintains clean, safe work and shopping environments; checks pricing signs.
• Reports safety hazards and issues immediately.
