Pursuit Spirits, LLC is seeking a Whiskey Row Experience Leader to provide world‑class service, share the Pursuit Spirits story, and help grow our unique visitor experience on Louisville's Whiskey Row. You will welcome guests, guide product knowledge, and contribute to a memorable tasting and retail experience.

The role is 20 hours per week, offering an hourly rate of $25. We value teamwork, adaptability, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Sales driven to move bottles, upsell memberships, and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests per hospitality standards and guide product selection.
• Maintain stock in the retail shop; keep shelves organized and clean.
• Keep daily events organized and prepared; set up for successful events.
• Use POS system to process sales of bottles, merchandise, and tours/tastings.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

• Welcome and engage guests warmly upon arrival that embody our hospitality standards and offer expert guidance with the products on the shelf.
• Maintain stock in the retail shop by ensuring that shelves and displays are full, organized, and clean.
• Keep your daily events organized and know what is next on your schedule, be able to set yourself up for a successful event.
• Utilize the POS system efficiently and accurately for processing sales of bottles, merchandise, and tour/tasting bookings.

Guest Experience

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, sharing the Pursuit Spirits story, and offering insights into the brand and products.
• Receive guests as they enter the shop and check them in for their experience, making them comfortable while waiting.
• Act as a welcoming presence, creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Team Support

• Assist with opening and closing activities as directed.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic presentation of guest areas, tasting rooms, and retail spaces.
• Actively contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment, upholding our core values and assisting colleagues as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to ensure coverage during our operating hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

This role will account for 20 hours per week and is an hourly position at $25/hr.
