Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is hiring a Whey Utility Operator I to support our Hull, IA whey department. You will develop working knowledge of all whey positions and assist with staffing needs to meet production goals.

You will learn and operate every piece of equipment used in the whey area and help with safety training and equipment maintenance. This role offers a 6:00 PM–6:00 AM shift with a 2-2-3 rotation, a competitive benefits package, and opportunities for advancement within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.
• Forklift Certification required; on-the-job training provided.
• Knowledge of whey production processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot equipment in the whey department.
• Cover for operator absences and vacations as needed.
• Coach new employees on equipment operations and safety procedures.
• Maintain documentation and assist with GMP, safety and training programs.
• Train others on SAP, MES and RF gun as needed.
