Job summary

Leprino Lubbock is seeking a Nutrion Packaging Operator. The Packaging Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the whey bagging line. All other duties as assigned.

This role offers hourly pay of $23.65 with a $1 differential for night shifts (6pm–6am) and weekly pay. All other duties as assigned.

Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in hot, humid, and cold areas. Leprino Foods promotes equal opportunity and a diverse, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English.
• Ability to evaluate mechanical conditions and adjust as needed.
• Ability to access elevated areas such as ladders or stairs.
• Basic math skills to perform common calculations.
• Understand and apply standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate whey bagging equipment safely and monitor product quality.
• Complete hourly scale and metal detector checks and reconcile weights.
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify issues to maintain specs.
• Maintain clean work area following GMP and housekeeping rules.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and shifts.
• Follow Food Safety and Quality Plans and PPE requirements.
