DC Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to ensure wheeled equipment is road‑ready. You will supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and shop, inspecting, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems as part of a broader training path.

You may pursue civilian career options after training, with paid instruction and tuition assistance, while earning a regular paycheck.

Qualifications

• Interest in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Interest in automotive engines and how they work.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, service, maintain, repair, test, adjust and replace systems and components.
• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness and charging systems.
