Job summary
The Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and in the shop.
Duties include inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, testing, and replacing systems and components; performing recovery operations; and servicing electrical systems, including wiring harness and charging systems.
Qualifications
- Interest in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
- Interest in automotive engines and how they work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain wheeled vehicles associated trailers and material handling equipment systems.
- Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness, and starting and charging systems.
