DC Army National Guard seeks a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and in the shop. You’ll inspect, service, repair, test, and replace systems and components, and perform recovery operations as needed.

This role includes training through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and tuition assistance.

Qualifikationen

• Enlistment in Army National Guard is required.
• Ages 17–35.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a physical exam.

Aufgaben

• Maintain wheeled vehicles, associated trailers and material handling equipment systems.
• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness, and starting/charging systems.
