Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic in Beloit, WI. You will supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and shop, ensuring readiness of all moving equipment.

You will inspect, service and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and charging systems, while developing skills for civilian automotive work through paid training and Guard benefits.

Qualifications

• Must meet enlistment requirements for the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles.
• Inspect, service, repair and test wheeled vehicle electrical systems including wiring and charging.
