Responsibilities include coordinating with dispatchers and gate agents, ensuring TSA screening compliance, and documenting incidents and wheelchair pushes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test (DOT or Non DOT) and submit to random testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely to and from required locations and stay alert to hazards.
• Provide special assistance, information, and directions to passengers.
• Project a positive and friendly image when interacting with passengers, staff, and the public.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for assignments and gate agents regarding wheelchair passengers.
• Comply with TSA checkpoint screening requirements and processes.
• Complete incident reports for accidents and unusual events while transporting passengers.
• Complete wheelchair logs documenting pushes.
• Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout a shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 75 pounds or more.
