Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Wheel Refurbishing Technician at our Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers facility. The role involves refurbishing commercial truck wheels through manual and automated steps with on‑the‑job training provided.

Base pay offered is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE) with weekly pay, full benefits, and overtime opportunities as part of Goodyear's Service Excellence – Always.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No relocation is being offered for this position.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform wheel refurbishing process including steam cleaning wheels of foreign materials.
• Shot blast wheels to remove rust and paint; inspect for unsafe conditions.
• Paint wheels with special paint and color for customer.
• Maintain inventory to ensure correct product delivery.
• Follow maintenance schedule and keep logs updated.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear protective equipment.
• Perform light to heavy lifting and long periods of standing as required.
