The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Wheel Refurbishing Technician for Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers. Responsibilities include refurbishing wheels through steam cleaning, rust removal, painting, and quality checks within a fast-paced service facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred (shoot blasting and painting)
• Commitment to safety procedures and safe operation of equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform wheel refurbishing process including steam cleaning wheels
• Shot blasting to remove rust and paint, inspect for unsafe conditions
• Paint wheels with customer-specified colors
• Maintain inventory to ensure correct products reach customers
• Follow maintenance schedules and keep logs for compliance
• Provide Service Excellence to meet location goals
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
