Job summary

Reining Forest Products in Beach Lake, PA is seeking a Log Yard Worker with experience operating a wheel loader to unload log trucks, sort logs, and feed log decks, while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will load bulk materials such as sawdust, bark, and wood chips for transport or processing, and perform general equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities include assisting the log buyer with measuring and documenting incoming logs, and safely using a chainsaw to trim logs.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a wheel loader or similar heavy equipment.
• Experience with chainsaw.
• Debarker operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wheel loader to unload log trucks and sort logs.
• Load bulk materials such as sawdust, bark, and wood chips.
• Perform maintenance on the loader and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist the log buyer with measuring, scaling, and documenting incoming logs.
• Safely operate a chainsaw to trim and prepare logs for sawing.
• Support operations by operating a debarker (experience preferred).
