Job summary

Baillie Lumber in South Carolina is seeking a Log Yard Technician to operate a front-end loader and knuckle boom for unloading/loading trucks and to grade and prepare logs per company guidelines.

The role requires strong teamwork, safety awareness, and experience as an equipment operator in a log yard or logging setting, with a valid SC driver’s license and a willingness to work in a hot, noisy environment. First shift with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment.
• Prefer a candidate with previous experience as an equipment operator either in a log yard environment or at a logging operation.
• Must be self motivated and organized.
• Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment.
• Must maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license.
