Job summary

Flanigan's in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a reliable Kitchen/Dishwasher to support a fast-paced dining team. You will wash dishes, maintain clean ware, and assist with opening/closing duties to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate is comfortable standing all shift, can lift up to 50 lbs, and communicates in English. Benefits include paid vacation, health insurance, a 401K plan, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Overview

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan's sanitation policies
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness ; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop
• Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
• Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
• Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
• Support fellow employees as needed
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Whale's Rib and Florida statutes
