Job description

WFM Solution Architecture Consultant (UKG / ADP / SAP S/4)

Join to apply for the WFM Solution Architecture Consultant (UKG / ADP / SAP S/4) role at RGP

RGP is seeking a Solution Architecture Consultant to design and govern a global Workforce Management (WFM) ecosystem for a major oil and gas client. This role will define the architecture connecting time capture through pay calculation and general ledger postings, ensuring seamless integration with ADP Global Payroll (Celergo/Streamline) and SAP S/4HANA. This individual will serve as both a strategic architect and a functional expert—balancing hands‑on technical depth with the ability to create scalable, compliant, and sustainable solutions. Acting as the design authority, you will guide a global rollout that supports complex workforce environments, including rotational, unionized, and remote operations.

What you will work on
  • Lead the design and standardization of the global WFM architecture, including country‑level patterns that address regional labor practices and workforce structures.
  • Define and maintain the canonical data model that connects UKG systems to ADP payroll and SAP S/4HANA for accurate earnings, deductions, and cost allocation.
  • Oversee integration and data strategy across platforms, ensuring accuracy, automation, and auditability through APIs, WIM, and secure file‑based workflows.
  • Establish and govern global standards for pay and work rules, accruals, scheduling, and exception management, adapting frameworks for local compliance needs.
  • Serve as the key design authority for change requests and system extensions, maintaining documentation and ensuring solution alignment to business goals.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Payroll, HR, and IT to align technology design with business operations and compliance frameworks.
  • Define and monitor performance and data quality targets, driving automation and regression coverage to maintain long‑term system stability and consistency.
What you will bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; field of study is flexible, with emphasis on proven experience and leadership in workforce or systems architecture.
  • 12–18+ years of experience leading global Workforce Management and payroll solution architecture initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in UKG/Kronos (Dimensions, WFC v8), ADP Global Payroll (Celergo, Streamline), and SAP S/4HANA FI/CO.
  • Proven track record designing and delivering end‑to‑end time, pay, and financial posting processes across multiple geographies.
  • Strong understanding of complex workforce environments, including rotational scheduling, union labor agreements, and offshore/onshore operations.
  • Technical proficiency in integration methods (APIs, WIM, ETL tools), data validation frameworks, and audit‑readiness controls.
  • Experience leading multi‑vendor delivery environments with diverse systems integrators and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and cross‑functional leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic vision and execution detail.
  • Background in oil and gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors preferred; certifications in UKG, ADP, SAP, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
What you can expect
  • Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
  • Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
  • Pay Range: $90-$120 per hour
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase plan, Professional development program, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required)
  • An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart.
