Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a wetlands field surveyor to conduct field surveys of wetlands and watercourses, documenting vegetation, hydrology, soils and wildlife habitats. You will collect data on water quality, flow, biodiversity and ecological health and prepare GIS-based maps and reports for regulatory review.

The role requires a diploma or degree in a related field and at least 5 years of environmental consulting/field surveying experience, with familiarity in

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Biology, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of environmental consulting/field surveying experience.
Professional experience with infrastructure projects and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct field surveys of wetlands and watercourses, documenting vegetation, hydrology, soils and wildlife habitats.
Collect data on water quality, flow rates, biodiversity and ecological health.
Create maps and reports using GIS to document surveyed areas.
