Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Wet Side Operator for a salt manufacturing facility. You will operate equipment safely on the wet side, monitor product quality and keep the area clean while following safety rules.

The role offers weekend shifts (Thu-Sun) with day or night options and a starting wage of $33.18 per hour, plus a $1500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates will have HS diploma or GED, basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and prior forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Basic use of a computer.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in a salt manufacturing and packaging facility using computerized controls.
• Perform product quality testing and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment to ensure consistent operation and address faults promptly.
• Manage brine well systems operations, including pumps, storage tanks and valves.
• Adhere to all safety rules and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
