• M.S./Ph. D in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or Physics

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Wet Process and Applications Engineer to support the development, integration, and sales of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong technical leadership, project management skills, Mandarin language skills, and the ability to initiate, engage and lead cross‑functional collaborations to deliver high-performance solutions for our customers.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Insight Global is seeking a Wet Process and Applications Engineer to support expanding business needs in the US to support the development of new manufacturing processes for advanced semiconductor devices in North Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead onsite development engagements between and customer R&D engineering teams
• Work with partners and service engineering team to understand, document and propose future hardware and process requirements and communicate these to the factory development team based in Japan
• Work proactively with partners to develop new and improved cleaning and wet etching applications for advanced semiconductor applications on single wafer and batch tools
• Prepare clear status reports for technical and executive management teams in and for customers
• Identify product solutions to solve customer needs and communicate clearly to customer engineering and sales teams
• Accurate and effective communication is essential in this position. Japanese language skills are necessary
• This position will be primarily based in North Phoenix, AZ. Opportunities will arise to travel to Japan and within USA to support wafer demos and attend internal meetings (less than 10%)
• Work closely with US Sales and sales support teams to promote the full range of through regular customer meetings as well as higher level technical review meetings

Job Requirements

• Understanding of wet clean and etching processes, and applications is a must for this position.
• Familiarity with single wafer tools is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided from process and process experts.
