Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline and 8–10 years of relevant experience in mission critical facilities.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems; proficiency in interpreting control narratives, P&IDs and electrical drawings.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover of automation systems in complex facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning plans, test procedures, and startup strategies for automation and control systems.
• Verify installation and configuration of instrumentation, PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMIs; ensure system performance meets design specs.
• Lead loop checks, functional testing, and integrated system testing; coordinate testing with contractors and vendors.
• Coordinate FATs/SATs and startup activities with OEMs and client representatives; track and resolve issues impacting startup readiness.
• Develop and maintain commissioning documentation and turnover packages; ensure proper closure of deficiencies.
• Promote safety culture and ensure ES&H compliance during all commissioning activities.
