Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to conduct laboratory-based studies on multiple myeloma and precursor conditions, identifying biomarkers for tumor burden and immune state. Qualifications

• PhD in biology or MD with 2–3 years lab experience.
• Strong background in cancer biology and/or immunology, ideally in hematopoietic system.
• Wet-lab proficiency in single-cell, spatial, genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, or FACS-sorting techniques.
• Experience with computational analysis of biological datasets or collaboration with computational scientists.
• Strong scientific, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and flexible with experimental scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and troubleshoot hypothesis-generating screens and experiments.
• Develop and advance research projects using technical expertise and creativity.
• Analyze complex datasets with computational approaches or in collaboration with computational biologists.
• Present findings to lab members and PI; present at conferences.
• Collaborate with computational and clinical teams, and with external partners.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and documentation for reproducibility.
• Contribute to grants, manuscripts, and progress reports; prepare figures.
• Mentor technicians and junior lab members.
