Qualifications

• PhD/MD/MD-PhD in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, chemical biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or related field.
• A first-author publication or preprint is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology is required.
• Ability to drive a project independently and troubleshoot creatively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret a program of independent wet-lab research, with mentorship from the PI.
• Develop and optimize experimental systems, including CRISPR screening platforms and glycoengineered cell models.
• Analyze high-dimensional datasets in collaboration with computational scientists and build data fluency.
• Present results at lab meetings, institutional forums, and national/international conferences.
• Prepare first-author manuscripts for publication and contribute to grants.
• Contribute to fellowship and grant applications and pursue independent funding.
• Mentor research staff, graduate students, and summer scholars, and foster a supportive lab culture.
