Pratt Industries seeks a Wet End Operator to join our production team in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate single-facers to produce high level of production and quality.
• Check wet end line-ups and verify correct roll stock.
• Place rolls in mill roll stands and perform splices and paper changes.
• Trim only the necessary amount of paper from the rolls during splices.
• Move and mark rolls with size, grade, diameter and footage; insert core plugs.
• Monitor the board during runs and adjust to maintain quality.
• Clean starch pan, glue roll and singlefacer area after changes and weekly.
• Remove paper from cores of stub rolls.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety rules, and housekeeping.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
