Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate the single-facers to produce high-quality output.
• Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is used.
• Load rolls in mill roll stands and perform splices and paper changes as needed.
• Trim minimal paper during splices; move roll stock as required.
• Mark roll sizes, grades, diameter and footage; place core plugs on butt rolls.
• Monitor board quality during runs and adjust as necessary.
• Clean starch pan, glue roll and singlefacer area after flute changes and weekly.
