Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is hiring a Chemist I in California to perform testing activities and ensure timely turnaround times. The role involves wet chemistry techniques, data entry into LIMS, and adherence to SOPs and QC requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring backlog, maintaining records, calibrating equipment, and contributing to a safe, compliant lab environment with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with wet chemistry techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of EPA and SW846 Methods preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities as directed by Group Leader in accordance with all applicable company and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor backlog and plan testing schedule to ensure quoted turnaround times are met.
• Enter testing data into LIMS and monitor for QC failures.
• Maintain neat and accurate records.
• Perform calibrations/checks of laboratory equipment.
