Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical methods. The role requires adherence to QA/QC programs and SOPs, with potential physical work including handling solvents and glassware.

The position follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule (1st shift) with training on similar hours. Relevant chemistry training or experience and strong English communication are essential for success and safety in the lab.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods and programs.
• Preparation of samples using standard techniques and chemical analysis.
• Evaluation and quantification of data; recording and reporting results.
• Maintaining instruments and keeping training documentation current.
• Complies with health, safety, and quality assurance standards.
