Qualified candidates hold a CT 7-12 teaching certificate, demonstrate excellence in teaching, and are passionate about meeting diverse student needs through differentiated instruction.

GENERAL STATEMENT

The School Based After School Tutor program provides after-school academic assistance to help their academic needs in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The tutor(s) will be responsible for providing small group tutoring in specific subject areas for students who need additional help. They will work in conjunction with theafter-school academic assistance program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To tutor students in academic subject areas.
