Job summary

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. (MSG Sports) is seeking an in-house DJ to create music mixes during Westchester Knicks games, curating the brand’s sound and energizing the arena.

You will attend pregame meetings, execute music during ingress, warmups, timeouts, and ceremonies, and follow game scripts to deliver exceptional guest experiences on-site.

Hourly pay is $57 per hour; on-site role requiring 2 years’ live-venue DJ experience and software/digital playback familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2 years DJ experience in live venues.

• Ability to follow game scripts and cues.
• Ability to execute music strategy.

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. Who are hiring?

The In-house DJ creates music mixes during Westchester Knicks games, curating the sound of the team's brand, and building the atmosphere and energy of the event. The In-house DJ reports to the Manager, Event Presentation.

What will you do?

• Attends pregame meetings to review and anticipate event needs.
• Executes music mixes during ingress, warmups, and egress.
• Selects music during timeouts and stoppages with focus on proper emotional tone.
• Executes musical cues for contests, ceremonies, and other on-court presentations.
• Executes music cues (beats, sound effects, stings) from Instant Replay unit.
• Takes cues from Westchester Knicks Game Director and follows game scripts.
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What will you need to succeed?

• 2 years DJ experience in a live venue setting.
• Expert in current DJ mixing software.
• Familiarity with digital audio playback units.
• Ability to follow game scripts and execute against the
