Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living seeks a Regional Vice President of Sales to lead and coach multiple communities in Western Virginia, with travel up to 80%. This full-time role focuses on driving occupancy, sales targets, and brand alignment while modeling company core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years sales experience within a retirement community or multi-family residential property with a significant level of responsibility for goal achievement.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Proven ability to conduct a strategic market analysis at the community and regional level.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and mentor Sales Professionals.
• Dynamic, energetic personality with the ability to motivate others.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on sales coaching and field training to community and regional staff.
• Assess market position and develop 30-60-90 growth action plans.
• Shadow community experiences and participate in external business development quarterly.
• Conduct quarterly site visits and publish concise reports within 2 business days.
• Participate in hiring, training and evaluation of community sales staff.
• Deliver ongoing Sales Center of Excellence training for new hires.
• Lead quarterly region-wide training, virtual and in-person.
• Collaborate with regional teams including operations and resident care.
• Monitor weekly sales metrics and census data with leadership.
• Drive quarterly revenue plans and regional performance reviews.
• Publish site visit follow-up reports and action items promptly.
