Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking the System Service Area President-West, a senior executive responsible for translating enterprise strategy into sustained performance across a multi-market portfolio.

The role accountable for operating excellence, financial stewardship, clinical quality, patient experience, and market competitiveness, while leading large-scale transformation and building a unified health system across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive executive leadership in a large healthcare system.
• Experience leading multiple hospitals or service areas with significant accountability.
• Ability to translate enterprise strategy into performance across markets.
• Strong communication with physicians, boards, and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide leadership across the System Office and designated markets.
• Drive performance across operational excellence, financial stewardship, clinical quality and patient experience.
• Lead large-scale transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and empower a high-performing executive leadership team and cross-market partnerships.
• Represent CommonSpirit Health with external stakeholders to advance strategy and growth.
