Job summary

Linde Inc. in Pittsburg, CA is seeking an Associate Director of Operations to direct planning and lead operations across production, distribution and maintenance. This role reports to the West Region Director and oversees Pittsburg and Benicia sites.

The candidate will manage a team, drive strategic initiatives, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and optimize productivity while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• More than six (6+) years of Operations experience.
• More than three (3+) years of Plant Management experience.
• Self-starter with ability to drive execution of projects and strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Proven leadership, team building, and decision-making skills.
• Reliability and efficiency focused with strong planning and execution skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning and leading operations in production, distribution and maintenance to meet objectives.
• Accountability for day-to-day operations of the Pittsburg area production and distribution.
• Lead a team of employees and consultants to execute operational requirements and improvements.
• Create and manage complex operational plans to achieve business objectives.
• Coordinate activities with other departments, businesses and functions.
• Ensure safety compliance and lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
