Job summary

Vistra Corporate Services Company is seeking a Development Manager for power generation projects in the West region. You will lead all project development activities from origination through construction, including land use, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and interconnection processes.

The role requires 5+ years in project development, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project development experience; West/regulatory experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to negotiate and persuade.
• Advanced MS Office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle confidential information; strong budgeting skills.
• Education background includes college degree or relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Execute project development strategy for the region.
• Oversee site development, permitting, land acquisition and stakeholder relations.
• Support origination and offtake negotiations with customers and utilities.
• Coordinate with internal/external resources on project transactions.
• Manage budget and drive profitability across utility-scale projects.
