Glovis America, Inc. in the United States (GA) seeks a dedicated supervisor for the FIL (Line Off) Department on the 3rd shift. You will oversee production flow, maintain quality standards, and ensure on-time delivery while enforcing safety and company policy.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, training, attendance, coaching, and data reporting using Excel. The role requires HS diploma and experience in manufacturing supervision; Associates preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; assc. degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehousing a plus.
• Ability to read and write English; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise FIL department on 3rd shift; ensure production and quality targets.
• Ensure on-time delivery and safety adherence; coach and train staff.
• Complete administrative tasks and report production data in Excel.

Summary

This position is responsible for supervising all activities related to operations in the FIL (Line Off) Department on 3rd shift, through maintaining production and quality requirements, and ensuring compliance with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Primary
  • Maintains and controls production and quality requirements
  • Ensures all established production, quality, and delivery commitments are met
  • Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of production problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent production delays
  • Performs daily supervisory duties to include safety accountability, training, attendance, positive employee relations, and compliance with company policy

  • Performs administrative activities, record keeping, and ensures compliance with company Policy
  • Performs administrative activities and record keeping associated with the effective management of FIL operation, such as, compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports
  • Should be able to accurately complete multiple reports using Excel by the end of his or her shift, and these reports should be stored neatly and should be accessible in a timely manner
  • Ensures team members follow departmental policies and procedures
    Provides coaching and discipline when needed

Education & Experience

• HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required
  • 1-2 years direct required; 1 year indirect required; 1-3 years supervisory required

  • 3 years direct preferred; 2 years indirect preferred; 4-7 years supervisory preferred
