Job summary

Southeast Connections LLC is seeking a Locator to work with the HDD Operator to identify and mark utilities prior to gas line installations. This role requires outdoor physical work, clear communication, and reliable travel for project assignments.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for Horizontal Drill Locator experience in utility work. A clean driving record is essential for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Horizontal Drill Locator experience with utility work preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operator with all duties.
• Locate and mark utility lines.
• Able to perform physical tasks and work outdoors (lift 60lbs).
• Able to communicate effectively in written form, email, or in person with all levels of coworkers, clients, and other external contacts.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Take personal responsibility for the quality and presentation of work.
• Maintain a positive attitude, professionalism and discretion at all times.
• Support a dynamic project environment with time-driven deadlines.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time to assigned project(s).

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Locator will work with the HDD (Drill) Operator to identify and mark utilities before drilling for gas line installations.
