Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC, a leading infrastructure contractor for the natural gas industry, seeks a Locator to identify and mark utilities before drilling for gas line installations.

The role involves outdoor work, lifting up to 60 lbs, travel to project sites, and coordination with the HDD Operator. A High School Diploma or GED and experience with horizontal drill locator are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Horizontal drill locator experience with utility work is preferred.

• Able to perform physical tasks and work outdoors (lift 60lbs)
• Able to work and communicate effectively in written form, e‑mail, or in person with all levels of co‑workers, clients, and other external contacts

• Maintains a positive attitude, professionalism and discretion at all times to all levels of the organization
• Able to support a dynamic project environment with time‑driven deadlines

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Locator will work with the HDD (Drill) Operator to identify and mark utilities before drilling for gas line installations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY
