Job summary

Allianz Commercial is seeking a Liability Zone Leader – West to lead a team of underwriters in Phoenix, Arizona. This role includes underwriting profitable business and managing large accounts, while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.

Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of experience in liability underwriting and possess a deep understanding of the liability market. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $185,000 to $250,000, along with performance-based cash incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in underwriting profitable Liability business.
• Recognised long-term relationships with brokers at peer group level.
• Deep knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriters to underwrite new and renewal business.
• Manage large/critical accounts and oversee underwriting processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.
