Job summary

The Global Edge Consultants LLC seeks a Supplier Quality Representative (SQR) – West Coast to perform quality surveillance at supplier locations across CA, UT, OR, WA, AZ, and CO. You will verify conformance to procurement documents through audits, tests, and documentation reviews, and you will report findings to project personnel and customers.

Travel is required to supplier facilities; you will reject nonconforming material, coordinate corrective actions, and release conforming material for

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience involving 2,000 hours of in‑shop surveillance, examination, or testing activities.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel routinely to supplier facilities within the assigned area.
• Ability to obtain and maintain client or export‑control access as required.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Represents company as the supplier’s primary contact and performs quality surveillance activities to verify conformance.
• Rejects nonconforming material and documents the condition with references to requirements and evidence.
• Reviews supplier documentation to ensure compliance with procurement documents and reports surveillance results.
• Coordinates with supplier quality personnel to ensure corrective actions and timely disposition of nonconformances.
• Performs release, reporting, and scheduling duties including prioritizing inspection milestones.
