Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a Supplier Quality Representative for field-based work across Tennessee, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The role requires extensive travel to supplier facilities and a strong background in welding, NDE, and QA surveillance to ensure conformance with codes and project requirements.

The SQR will monitor supplier processes, document nonconformances, coordinate with QA personnel, and report surveillance findings to project teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience involving in-shop surveillance, examination, or testing activities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to supplier facilities.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification and nuclear industry experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveillance activities per scope and quality surveillance plan.
• Monitor supplier activities and witness operations, inspections, and testing for compliance.
• Identify nonconformances and work with suppliers toward disposition and corrective actions.
• Release conforming material for shipment and prepare surveillance reports.
• Maintain inspection assignments, records, photographs, and other quality documentation.
