Job summary

The Global Edge Consultants LLC is seeking a Supplier Quality Representative for the New England region. The role involves traveling to supplier and vendor shops to conduct quality surveillance activities, verifying material and processes meet procurement requirements, and rejecting nonconforming items.

You will witness examinations, review test reports, and coordinate with supplier quality personnel to disposition nonconformances and release conforming material for shipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of in-shop surveillance, inspection, or testing.
• Ability to review procurement documents and witness tests.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review procurement documents with supplier reps to ensure understanding.
• Attend kickoff and pre-fabrication meetings; confirm witness points and plans.
• Verify qualified procedures, personnel, and equipment are in place before work starts.
• Perform surveillance activities per the quality surveillance plan and meet at witness points.
• Monitor supplier activities to verify PO document requirements are met.
• Review supplier quality documentation for conformance and traceability.
• Release conforming material for shipment and coordinate with other teams.
• Provide surveillance results and progress risk notifications to project personnel.
