Job summary

VETEC ANLAGENBAU GmbH in the USA West Coast seeks an ambitious Service Technician with a focus on maintenance and repair of thermal processing systems. The role offers a permanent contract, relocation to the USA, a high degree of autonomy, and a competitive salary package.

Responsibilities include on-site service, diagnostic work on electrical controls and PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal / STEP 7), and training customers in operation and cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational training with higher qualification.
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 / NEC and Siemens PLC programming is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, repairing and servicing thermal processing systems.
• Troubleshooting electrical controls, sensors and HMI systems.
• PLC diagnostics and basic parameter programming (TIA Portal/STEP 7).
• Inspecting heat exchangers, burners and smoke generators.
• On-site service to minimize downtime and training customers.
