Job description

Our client, a US-based global packaging machinery and materials manufacturer is seeking a West Coast Regional Sales Representative based in California to take over an established $8-$10 million eight state (CA, AZ, NV, WA, OR, CO, UT & NM) sales territory.

The West Coast Regional Sales Representative will :

• Work from home and travel 1-3 nights a week selling solutions direct to the customer and driving sales territory growth
• Manage existing clients within the territory.
• Create strategy around target opportunities, sales pipeline, and closing business that often includes the sale of :

o Capital equipment

o Machinery leases

o Raw material supply

o Maintenance services

• 50% account management and 50% new business development. No cold calling!
• Travel primarily from LA to Phoenix to Las Vegas.
• Markets sold into include :

o E-Commerce,

o Distribution operations / 3PLs

o Woodworking / window & door

o Printing

o Building materials and merchandising / display manufacturers

The ideal candidate :

• BS / BA coupled with 3-5 years of selling capital equipment or engineered solutions to process related issues.
• Will have Sales experience in any of the following :

o Packaging / Woodworking machinery

o Material handling / robotic system / warehouse / e-commerce / workflow automation integration

• Must have the ability to sell large ticket capital equipment items direct to end users to improve process flow, labor reduction and on ROI

Compensation :

• 90k - $125k + Commission on equipment and materials sold

o Uncapped and paid monthly – ability to make $200k is real!
