Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks a Waterfront Ship Manager Representative to provide on-site support for US Navy surface ship modernizations at locations CONUS and OCONUS. You will manage schedules, access, and coordination of installation efforts, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a decade of Navy HM&E experience, including navigation systems, and involves coordinating material delivery, SPIR updates, and weekly testing/status reporting. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience providing technical support for U.S. Navy HM&E with at least 5 years in Navigation systems and equipment.
• Seven years of experience in direct fleet support, installations, testing, troubleshooting, equipment assessments, and acceptance testing.
• Secret security clearance preferred; U.S. citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates for each ship undergoing modernization.
• Coordinate material delivery and verify LOA letter requirements.
• Prepare weekly waterfront status reports and coordinate NSWCPD testing procedures.
• Coordinate shipyard test support and SPIR data entry/tracking.
• Schedule power coordination and tag in/tag out of equipment for safety.
• Notify SMR of delays and changes from production entities.
